PRECEDE 2027 invites digests on any subject within the scope of the conference. Each digest is reviewed double-anonymously; accepted papers are presented in Beijing on 3–6 June 2027 and submitted to the IEEE Xplore Digital Library.

• All digests are submitted through EDAS: https://edas.info/N35756. Submissions by e-mail are not accepted.
• One EDAS account works for every conference that uses EDAS. If you already have an account, please use it rather than creating a new one.
• Register your paper first (title, abstract, all co-authors and track), then upload the PDF. You may revise the details and replace the file as often as you like until the deadline.
• Submission deadlines are Anywhere on Earth (AoE, UTC−12): a deadline has not passed as long as it is still that date anywhere in the world.

Digests that do not meet these requirements will be rejected without review.

1. Anonymity: please do NOT include author names or affiliations in your digest, as this is a double-anonymous review process.
2. Length: no more than five (5) pages, including references.
3. Layout: single column.
4. Page size: A4 (210 × 297 mm) or US Letter (8.5 × 11 in).
5. File: PDF only. Do not apply password protection or security settings, and do not submit a scanned document.
6. Content: state clearly the objectives of the work, its significance in advancing the state of the art, and the methods and specific results in sufficient detail, with key equations, figures, tables and references as appropriate.

EDAS checks every uploaded PDF and reports any problems it finds. A file that uploads successfully may still fail these requirements, so please read the report and correct any warnings before the deadline.

Use the IEEE conference templates (Microsoft Word or LaTeX): https://www.ieee.org/conferences/publishing/templates

The IEEE templates are two-column by default. Set the template to a single column before preparing your digest.

Either Word or LaTeX may be used. We suggest the LaTeX template, as PDFs produced from it tend to raise fewer technical problems when accepted papers are later submitted to IEEE Xplore.

Choose the track that best fits your contribution. A description of each track is shown in EDAS when you register your paper.

4. Data-driven predictive control techniques
5. Artificial intelligence in predictive control
6. Predictive control for power systems, smart- and micro-grids, electric vehicles and other energy conversion systems

• Final manuscripts may run to eight (8) pages in the standard two-column IEEE conference format. Detailed requirements can be found on the [Full Paper Submission] page.
• An IEEE copyright form must be completed for each accepted paper; without it the paper cannot be published. The form is filed electronically through EDAS.
• Each accepted paper must be presented at the conference, normally by one of its authors. If no author can attend, a colleague may present on their behalf; please inform the secretariat in advance.
• IEEE reserves the right to exclude a paper from distribution after the conference, including removal from IEEE Xplore, if the paper is not presented at the conference.
